SHINee is planning to stand on stage of KBS’s K-POP festival, Music Bank In Paris, to hold in France at 8:00 p.m. on February 8 (local time), but quite a severe ankle injury unfitted Onew, one of the members of the Korea’s popular boy group, for the French performance.
The news was initiated at a press conference with French and Korean reporters held before the performance. Along with the disappointing news, SHINee’s Jong Hyun delivered words of apology to fans.
Jong Hyun says, “Due to his ankle injury, Onew could not possibly stand on stage in France. I am very sorry to have to tell you this. Next time, if opportunity occurs, all five members will be together.”
“This is the second time following the first French performance last year. Watching the last year’s show, I thought every country has each enthusiastic, fantastic culture of performing art. I think it is a great chance to exchange such cultures each other. In this sense, we’ll do our upmost efforts to show off our own characteristic performance,” he added.
