SHINee’s Min Ho, who debuts as an actor through SBS’s sitcom The Salamander Expert and the Shadow Operation, shows his respect to Oh Dal Su and Lee Byung Joon.
Min Ho selects actor Oh Dal Su when asked which actor he would like to follow.
He says, “I always wanted to model myself after actor Oh Dal Su whenever I see his movies. I’m just so thrilled to see him myself. Since he is an experienced actor, he gives many ideas at the set like, ‘what about such and such in this scene?’ In short, he shows more than the scenes we expect to see.”
Min Ho also mentions actor Lee Byung Joon. “The character that actor Lee Byung Joon plays has some evidence about my father in the series, so we have many complicated things between us. Because he is such a professional actor, I was once confused whether he was really suffering from Alzheimer’s disease when he acted.”
To the question of the best advice he got from actors, Min ho said, “That was from Lee Byung Joon.
I was acting the scene in which I run outside after catching the criminals with my eyes. I ran outside right after seeing them, but Lee Byung Joon advised me, ‘you may be caught for a short period of time in the camera, but you should stay a little longer to deliver your feelings to viewers.’ Because I understood what he meant, I was so touched and felt grateful.”
In The Salamander Expert and the Shadow Operation, Min Ho plays the genius hacker Min Hyuk. The sitcom will open on January 27 as the follow-up series to The Law of Jungle.
